CJC-1295 (DAC)

CJC-1295 With DAC (Long-Acting GHRH Analog — Drug Affinity Complex)
GH AxisWell ResearchedFDA: Not approvedWADA: PROHIBITED — Category S2

Overview

Phase I/II trials completed. Dose-dependent IGF-1 increases lasting 2 weeks. Weekly dosing convenience but less physiologic GH pattern than No-DAC.

Mechanism of Action

DAC moiety enables covalent albumin binding → 8-day half-life. Produces sustained GH elevation ('GH bleed') vs pulsatile pattern. Controversial: sustained vs pulsatile pattern clinical significance debated.
