Developed by Repros Therapeutics for male hypogonadism. Phase 3 trials demonstrated restoration of testosterone to eugonadal levels while preserving sperm. FDA declined approval 2015 (manufacturing concerns, not efficacy). Widely used off-label and compounded.
Trans-isomer of clomiphene that selectively antagonizes estrogen receptors in hypothalamus/pituitary, blocking negative feedback to increase GnRH pulsatility and LH/FSH secretion. Unlike clomiphene (trans+cis isomers), enclomiphene lacks the estrogenic cis-isomer (zuclomiphene). Results in increased endogenous testosterone without testicular atrophy.
Trans-isomer only (no zuclomiphene); restores testosterone; preserves fertility; Phase 3 complete; FDA declined (manufacturing); compounded availability.
Research data is not a treatment plan. If you are considering Enclomiphene, the questions that matter are whether it suits your history, your labs and your goals. That is a conversation with a licensed physician, not a lookup.
